These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between Royalty Removals Ltd (“the Company”) and the customer (“the Client”).

 

1. Packing, Preparation & Exclusions

 

1.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that all items are securely packed, boxed, sealed, and closed flat prior to transportation unless the Company’s professional packing service has been booked.

 

1.2 Any item that is:

 

poorly packed

 

left open

 

overfilled

 

unsuitable for transport

 

will be moved entirely at the Client’s risk, and no liability will be accepted for loss or damage.

 

1.3 The Company shall not be responsible for damage caused by inadequate packing supplied by the Client.

 

2. Insurance & Liability Limitations

 

2.1 The Company holds Goods in Transit Insurance up to £15,000.00 , subject to policy terms.

 

2.2 All insurance claims are subject to a £500.00 excess, payable by the Client.

 

2.3 Insurance cover:

 

applies only while goods are in transit inside the Company vehicle

 

does not apply to items outside the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed in writing

 

2.4 Items that are boxed, wrapped, or packed by the Client are not covered under insurance, unless the Company’s professional packing service has been selected and completed by the Company.

 

2.5 Any damage to furniture or goods outside of the vehicle will be assessed solely at management discretion.

 

2.6 All damage or loss must be reported on the day of the move.

A maximum of 48 hours is permitted for written notification.

 

2.7 Any claims or complaints made after 48 hours will be automatically rejected, and no insurance claim will be processed.

 

3. Deposits, Bookings & Cancellations

 

3.1 A 25% non-transferable deposit is required to secure all bookings.

 

3.2 The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice once services are completed.

 

3.3 Deposits are fully refundable only if a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is provided prior to the scheduled start date and time.

 

3.4 Cancellations made:

 

less than 72 hours before the booking will result in loss of deposit

 

less than 48 hours before the booking will result in 50% of the total invoice being payable

 

4. Payment Terms & Late Fees

 

4.1 Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services.

 

4.2 Accepted payment methods:

 

Cash

 

Bank Transfer (BACS)

 

4.3 If payment is not received within 72 hours, a late fee of £100 or 10% of the invoice (whichever is greater) will apply.

 

4.4 If payment remains unpaid 7 days after completion, an additional charge of 20% or £200 (whichever is greater) will be added and legal recovery action may commence without further notice.

 

4.5 Alternative payment terms must be agreed in writing at the time of booking.

 

5. Prohibited & Dangerous Items

 

5.1 The Company will not transport the following items:

 

Open or perishable food

 

Firearms, weapons, or ammunition

 

Drugs or illegal substances

 

Animals or livestock

 

Paints, solvents, chemicals

 

Gas bottles, fuel containers, canisters

 

Fireworks or explosives

 

Lithium batteries or hazardous waste

 

Any flammable, corrosive, toxic, or dangerous materials

 

5.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse or cease service immediately if prohibited items are presented.

 

6. Quotations, Item Lists & Additional Charges

 

6.1 All quotations are based on item lists, photos, or videos supplied by the Client.

 

6.2 If additional items are present on arrival that were not previously disclosed, the Company reserves the right to:

 

refuse to carry out the service, or

 

invalidate the original quote and issue a revised quote on-site

 

6.3 For hourly rate services, once the minimum time stated on the invoice has elapsed, additional time will be charged at the agreed hourly rate.

 

7. Parking, Access & Fines

 

7.1 The Client is responsible for providing suitable parking and access.

 

7.2 Any parking fines, penalties, or traffic violations incurred while carrying out services will be fully chargeable to the Client.

 

8. Working Days & Operating Hours

 

8.1 Services are provided Monday to Saturday.

 

8.2 The Company does not operate on Sundays, Bank Holidays, or Public Holidays.

 

8.3 Working hours commence from 7:00am until completion of the job.

 

9. Passengers, Assistance & Liability Waiver

 

9.1 No members of the public or Clients are permitted to travel in Company vehicles.

 

9.2 Clients are not permitted inside the cargo area of Company vehicles at any time.

 

9.3 If a Client chooses to assist with loading or unloading, they do so entirely at their own risk.

 

9.4 The Company accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from Client assistance.

 

10. Governing Law

 

10.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

By paying the deposit and/or confirming this booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to Royalty Removals Ltd’s full Terms & Conditions.

 

This includes packing responsibilities, insurance limitations, cancellation charges, payment terms, and liability exclusions.

 

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in refusal of service or additional charges.
